MRSGI supports GreenEarth Heritage Foundation

Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI) recently solidified its partnership with GreenEarth Heritage Foundation, enabling the non-government organization to distribute its products in Metro stores across the country.

Adhering to sound and sustainable agricultural practices, GreenEarth organically grows vegetables and herbs in its Bulacan farm. GreenEarth’s flagship product Moringa Tea and Powder, which is USDA, Eco Certified-Organic, and Fair Trade Certified, will be soon available in all Metro Supermarkets. Proceeds of sold GreenEarth products will be for the benefit of indigent farmers.

“Our partnership with GreenEarth Foundation is a great opportunity to provide quality products to our consumers as well as help GreenEarth’s main beneficiaries. We support the advocacies of GreenEarth and we welcome them as one of our CSR partners,” said Anna Marie Periquet, MRSGI’s vice president for Corporate Affairs.

Known to cater to every customer’s diverse needs, MRSGI offers a wide assortment of fresh and quality products. The collaboration with GreenEarth enables shared growth between the two organizations.

“With MRSGI’s support, we are confident that we’ll be able to reach out to a large number of consumers, particularly those who are looking for ways to be healthy, to try our organic products,” said Mylene Matti, M.D., GreenEarth Heritage Foundation founder and executive director.
