Jacqueline B. Cano is the Vice President for Operations and Operations SBU Head at Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI). She is responsible for overseeing the complete operational framework of Metro’s supermarket, hypermarket, and department store formats. She plays a crucial role in enhancing business performance, standardizing operational procedures, and implementing initiatives that improve customer experience, supply chain effectiveness, and in-store standards.

Widely known as “Jackie” in the local retail industry, she is an accomplished retail executive bringing over three decades of extensive leadership experience from some of the country’s leading retail establishments, including Abenson, WalterMart, Pilipinas Makro/SM, Metro, and AllDay Supermarket. Her career is distinguished by a robust background in merchandising and marketing, coupled with a profound expertise in retail operations.

Prior to her current role at Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI), Jackie served as the Chief Operating Officer at AllDay Supermarket. In this capacity, she spearheaded the brand’s successful nationwide expansion and the optimization of its operational processes.

Jackie is a strong advocate for operational excellence, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement. She fosters a culture of accountability and innovation throughout the organization. Her leadership is a driving force in Metro Retail’s ongoing transformation towards becoming a more adaptable, competitive, and forward-thinking retail enterprise.

Her undergraduate degree is in Communication Arts at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She is currently taking up masteral studies in the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
