Aside from starting the aggressive expansion, Frank Gaisano, Metro Retail Group chairman, also said that the company will invest more on understanding their customers’ behavior to satisfy their needs.

Adapting his late father and Metro founder Victor Gaisano’s mantra that “Customer is King,” Frank Gaisano assures the public that Metro will continue the company’s tradition of providing experiential shopping through easy and convenient shopping, completeness of assortment, best-in-class customer service and localizing stores in every community. “We’re here to serve you. You can always find something in Metro,” he said.

Eduardo Ponce, Metro Retail Group president and chief operating officer said that Metro is not a typical retailer as it has alliances with major mall developers Ayala Land, Inc. and Megaworld Corp. Most recently, Vicsal Development Corp. sealed a joint venture with Hongkong Land.
