The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has recently revalidated the Gold Bagwis Seals of three Metro Retail stores that consistently met the program’s standards – Metro Supermarket Carmen, Super Metro Carcar, and Super Metro Bogo. Furthermore, Metro Supermarket Hilongos received the Silver Bagwis Seal in recognition of its efforts to uphold consumers' rights and welfare and practice responsible business.
Establishments that comply with the parameters set forth by the DTI on fair trade laws, customer relations, store management operations, and commitment to social responsibility are granted the Bagwis Seals of Excellence. The program has three levels of recognition: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
To date, MRSGI has a total of 48 DTI Bagwis Awards which serve as a testament to the Company’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
