METRO Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) recently scored a big win in the recent 20th Outstanding Filipino Retailers & Shopping Centers of the Year Awards night, as the company s Metro Department Store was named the winner in the Most Outstanding Full Line Department Store Category.

Metro Department Store has been cited for providing consumers with a wide assortment of quality general merchandise at affordable prices. The awarding ceremony was conducted by the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and the Department of Trade and Industry.

Present during the awarding were MRSGI Chairman and CEO Frank S. Gaisano, MRSGI Vice­President for Corporate Affairs Anna Marie Periquet, PRA Vice­Chairman Mars C. Chua, and PRA Vice­President Rose B. Ong.
