Metro Retail, U.S. Embassy mark 80 years of PH–U.S. ties with The Great American Food Fest

Market!

Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI), in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines, officially launched The Great American Food Fest at Metro Supermarket in Market! Market!, marking the 80th anniversary of the Philippines–U.S. diplomatic relations.

Metro Retail executives and representatives from the United States led a ceremonial bell ringing to officially open the two-week promotion. The event was held in conjunction with the USDA Agribusiness Trade Mission under the “Galing USA” banner.

Running from April 13 to April 26, the festival features a curated selection of U.S.-origin food and beverage products, alongside exclusive in-store promotions. The initiative builds on Metro’s ongoing collaboration with U.S. partners to bring global flavors closer to Filipino consumers.
